Naming Traditions

Family names

After the Wight War, captured Tinge prisoners were not sacrificed as was custom. Instead, they were married into minor nobility and forcibly adopted Sang names.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

Descendants of these invaders are largely thought of as very pretty. Their delicate build and long hair typify Sangsalgu's notions of beauty.   Nevertheless; there is also a distinctive exoticism that has somehow remained over excessive generations of integration. This is most shown in their healty glowing skin that requires no creams or other such augmentation.   They are also less likely than others to succumb to huehue and those that achieve power through zomalli take on a greenish tinge that is almost the same shade as the Tinged remaining in the marshes.

Relationship Ideals

Though long assimilated into Sangsalgu Proper; quipaz retain a defiant, though not treasonous, disposition towards many of the state's institutions.   Special attention is given to the female half of the quipaz population as appear to have an innate predisposition to causing trouble. To redirect or discourage such activities, talented daughters are placed in a rigorous education program that marries them later on.   To mixed success.

Major organizations

The Parlour
