Eilistraee (EYEL-iss-TRY-ee)
Eilistraee belongs to the Inner Circle of Mab's Unseelie Court, and is the Patron Goddess of the drow. She was also the goddess of beauty, song, dance, freedom, moonlight, swordwork, and hunting.
It is said that she and her brother came from a mysterious world in a universe far away from Valloth, seeking refuge millennia ago with thousands of drow in tow. This is how the dark elves came to be in Valloth, as they previously did not exist.
Not much is known of this world that this deity came from. It is knowledge that the drow do not give to outsiders, but there is also the possibility that they might not remember themselves, information lost to time. But it is said that the brother and sister duo killed their mother, and fled to Valloth, seeking asylum for themselves and their people.
There is tension between drow that worship Eilistraee, and those that worship her brother, Vhaeraun.
Appearance
Eilistraee appears as a drow woman of glowing beauty. Tall (9 feet/2.7 meters in height) and lithe, with gracefully strong limbs and glossy, obsidian-dark skin. She is usually unclad, cloaked only by her ankle-length hair that shone with a bright silvery hue, and by a thin robe of moonlight that was ever-dancing about her body. Her eyes are the color of moonstones, and were very expressive of her mood.Personality
Eilistraee is a kindhearted and loving goddess that was particularly fond of the arts. It is said that drow musicians and artists of all kinds held her unwavering favor, often blessing them with sudden bouts of inspiration and creativity. She also valued love in all its forms, taking the time to help staining sibling or parental relationships, and starcrossed lovers alike. Eilistraee was also very close with her people, taking the time to appear to drow in need of her aid personally. Not only providing pratical help, such as answering prayers, but even to provide comfort to those that are lost, or feel like outcasts from society. But she had a fiery streak that came out in the face of injustice, or acts that went against her own values of love and creativity. Those who offended her would meet a swift death by her moonlit blade. Although her focus would always be on the drow, Eilistraee accepted folk of all races who danced along her path, who delighted in life and in the free-form expression of it in all its forms. She fought so that all races could live peacefully together, helping and accepting each other despite their differences, and strongly believed in the possibility of redemption for those who had fallen to evil.Divine Domains

The Crescent Blade was a magical sword created by the goddess from a pebble of the moon of her original home. It was curved, resembling a crescent moon attached to a leather hilt. On the blade itself were Drow words that translated to "Be your heart filled with light and your cause be true; I shall not fail you." When wielded, the Crescent Blade spouted silver fire.
The location of this blade has been lost to time.

Relationships
History
The history of these twins is a complicated one. While it is clear they hold some amount of care for one another, their core values were far too different. Both shared the same goal, wishing for the drow society to florish and thrive. But, their views on how to achieve this clash far too heavily for the pair to get along: Eilistraee wished the drow to live peacefully and build friendships with other races, while Vhaeraun wanted the drow to claim prestige of violence and conquest. Although Eilistraee didn't hate her brother, she was saddened by his cruelty and selfishness. And though Vhaeraun didn't hate his sister, he detested her weakness and soft heart.
