Leimeren & Renmelei
Sometimes portrayed as twins or as one being with two faces, this pair governs weather and emotion--Leimeren is the embodiment of calmness, while Renmelei is stormy and fierce. One or the other may rein at any moment, but the other is never far. Though they are far from obscure, the particulars of these gods and their worship are less widespread than the likes of Alteneia or Valor.
Divine Domains
In combination
Weather and emotion. While the turning of the seasons is properly Alteneia's domain, the variety within--rain, snow, wind, or calm--are the result of the shifting balance between Leimeren and Renmelei. And just as these conditions are ruled by the vacillating powers of the dual gods, emotions are their internal equal.
Leimeren
Leimeren is master of fair weather and calm skies, reflection (both literal and metaphorical), and of seeking or experiencing personal growth.
Renmelei
Renmelei rules over storms, decisive action, and seeking or enacting outward change (whether politically or by force).
Divine Symbols & Sigils
The pair may be represented individually as a raised fist and an open hand, or as an Imperial Tortoise and a Stormheralds. The combination is invoked by the symbol of an hourglass, the lower half of which contains a sandstorm, or by a face in profile looking at its reflection.
Tenets of Faith
The primary tenet of the dual gods is that both parts are necessary: storm and calm, action and reflection, fierce joy and quiet sadness.
