Ilaen
The war-weary Ilaen are, despite their traumas, a loving culture; but they are also desperate. Promised the Forest which was torn asunder for the war effort, they feel betrayed, taken advantage of, and isolated from the rest of Nivasa. They've made efforts to befriend and commune with Etxera, but the latter community wants little to do with outsiders.
The Ilaen are one of two groups in Vals'kar which have learned and actively practice floramancy, with the Iaak being the other group. They've used the magic to great effect in resurrecting some of the Evergrove Forest and don't understand why others aren't as charmed by its use. Their dedication to its practice, and gratitude for its efficacy, lends itself to their treatment of non-believers as untrustworthy.
While they don't wish the Haki to suffer the same way that they did, the Ilaen are waiting for a unified apology on behalf of their selfishness and an acceptance of floramancy. They are certain the day will never come, but allow themselves a modicum of hope that it may.
Although their faith is largely centered on the revivification of Evergrove Forest, a small majority of Ilaen worship Zyphus, the God of Life and Death.
