The Barbossian Reich is a large collection of Lords united under an elected emperor. Generally speaking, the people of the empire known as Heldmen, are fiercely loyal to the Emperor first and foremost, willing to die in his name. Emperors adopt the last name of Barbossa when they are elected, signifying a connection to the very first emperor, Emperor Sigismund Barbossa.
