High Elf
High Elves were one of the very first species of Elf to exist. The first High Elves settled in the area known as Mithrend. There, they found the once grand city of Solta. Many Elven kingdoms claim direct descendance to High Elven kings, as a sort of divine mandate. Their past influence and reach is seen all across Caldera, from their architecture, to their discovery of Arcane Essence. Ancient High elves are credited with the creation of the Hobgoblin race.

Ancient High elves hunted dragons for recognition, scales, honor. Many families still carry dragonblades or armor made from their ancestors exploits.
