Oakhart
A small town in the Highlands situated at the forking of the Claw Beck, and birthplace of the Taland brothers. At the heart of the town is an ancient oak tree, which is involved in a lot of their traditions. Like other Highland towns except for where the King resides, Oakheart has no walls or traditional fortifications. The only walled off area is the sharp fences surrounding the Necrosect that was built there by the Iron conquerors. Do have some wooden defenses against Lost set up in a soft perimeter of the town. Under technical ownership of a distant relative of House Courage who spends all his time in the Necrosect away from the Highlanders.
The people that settled in Oakhart were originally from the Oakhart clan which represented themselves with a stag crest, but some remnants of the Bloodwolf clan survived and hid amongst their noble brothers while they were being hunted by the newly-established Iron Empire.
Tartan Sett: The Oakhart tartan has a central square of bright green, dark green rectangles stretching out at all ninety-degree angles, with two lines of white crisscrossing through its center. The Sett is on a field of bright red with four threads of black crossing around the green square in pairs of two.

The Storm Oak
The great ancient oak tree that resides at the center of Oakhart is the center of the town, physically and spiritually. All their customs and cultural events revolve around the tree. Unfortunately, in the year of 479AW, when the boy Kaidryn Taland was born, a terrible storm beset the town and a lightning bolt charged with souls struck the great Oak tree, killing it and calcifying it into stone. The beautiful colorful tree is now grey and black, hard and unforgiving. It is now known as the Storm Oak.Mead Hall
The old Mead Hall that once belonged to the Jarl of Oakhart now serves as a gathering place alongside the Storm Oak.
