The Burning War

The greatest military conflict and only war in Vaskeer's history. The flourishing Iron Kingdom took an army of shining knights in splendid plate armor north, across the Virnach Mountains to invade the Highlands and Ember Dominance in a 6-year long campaign, that finally ended with the creation of the Iron Empire as both the Highlanders and Emberlings were forced to bend the knee to their new Emperor, the Last King.
Theodosius Glore started the Burning War exactly one year after his coronation, on the holy day of Ethosian 11.
