Forest of Pushan

In the southern part of Zagrean once stood King Pushan's Garden, a district filled with natural beauty, carefully maintained and groomed by an army of gardeners. One day, decades ago, the plants began to grow. Rapidly and out of control, within days, they had the appearance of a natural forest. Within weeks, they overtook the man made structures within the district. The Ravdos attempted to push back the growth, but found their attempts halted by strange, verdant greatures, both plant and fungal in nature, fighting them at every pass. Eventually, they were forced to retreat beyond the district walls. A new force was established in the city, the Pyrothi, an order of Pyromancers. Taken from average citizens, the Pyrothi are tought only the magic needed to control the flame. From the walls around the forest region, they hold back the endless growth, patrolling the perimiter and maintaining the wall to stop the Forest of Pushan from ever escaping it's prison. From the forest rise the Pushan, named for the late kind, deadly plant-creatures.
