Lower Fields

By far the largest of Zagrean's districts in terms of pure area, the Lower Fields district is primarily low class housing, craftsman, and farmers. Named for the fields that once stood there before the city's expantion overtook them, the Lower Fields are a hodgepodge of travelers seeking to enter the city proper, local workers and peasantry, mercants running workshops, and varous other businesses to serve their everyday needs. Large amounts of the city's manufacturing occurs in the lower fields, mostly by individual craftsmen, but sometimes in larger, Merchant-owned shops.
