Royal Family

The Royal Family of Zagrean is the House of Uthren. Supported by the Council of Eight, they are the most powerful noble family in the city, and by extension, in all of Vaspira. They are in constant conflict with the Vasiliades over their control of the city, but the mage's support makes them unassailable. The current king, Indros Uthren, has ruled for over twenty years, and led the armies of Zagrean, including his King's Wardens, to gain victory in the Shaman Wars against Thaal, who sought to end Zagreans' monopoly on magic.
