Elves can generally live for up to a thousand years, at the age of twenty they are biologically able to reproduce, but elves are generally still considered "children" until the age of forty.

Elves have an egalitarian society based on meritocracy. Those most skilled become leaders in their respective trade. Elves tend to be poly-amorous by nature, having many partners over the course of their lives. Generally being with the people that suit them best at the time.
