Noonwraith

The spirit of a woman who died on her wedding day and is not yet ready to part from the material plane. Noonwraith have experienced great suffering and their souls are tainted with hate. A noonwraith generally attacks anyone who approches her on sight. The spirit can not travel far from their bones, the only thing binding them to the material plane. If the bones are salted and burned the spirit is sent to the afterlife. A noonwraith is most powerful during the day when the sun is highest in the sky, but a noonwraith can appear at any time of day or night. When the sun is highest overhead the noonwraith is said to have an impressive healing ability.
