Alice's Realm

Alice’s Realm is a Hell World parallel that in 2016 a coronavirus outbreak decimated global populations leaving just under eight-hundred thousand people worldwide. Over the last seven years, survivors have found each other and formed small communities. The largest such settlement in North America is located in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. The Commonwealth of Corvallis (as the residents call the polity) has a population of just over twenty-five thousand. The migration to the area from across the continent began about a year after the plague had done its work. Curiously, several groups spontaneously formed around a cult centered on Artemis the Hellenistic goddess of the moon whose leaders independent of one another “received” divine word to make the trek to the valley and begin the community.
The region of Columbia Falls, Montana in this parallel is a base of operations for groups of extraplanar travelers who call themselves the “Wildcats” after the mascot of the local high school that they use as a base of operations and a jumping off point for their dimension hopping activities.
