Classes

Venya is home to unique and fractured systems of magic, creatures and peoples. The combination of these aspects has resulted in unique skills and classes to tackle the various difficulties that arise within Venya.  

Classes: Purpose

The drive to create new classes and characters aims to bring around a more grounded system. Races and factions should have specialists that utilize skills only available to them, creating dynamic and unique fighting styles that are tied to their race's lore. Not all peoples' are magic-sensitive, or able to wield it in quite the same way. Just as unique fighting styles may develop based on a race's history, experience or unique anatomy. These new classes seek to address these issues while having varied and individualistic talent trees to progress down. That being said, there are a few generic classes that can be played by any race  

Common Classes

There are only three classes that fall into this category. They can be applied to any race that seems appropriate to the GM. They are 'The Adventurer', 'The Warrior' and 'The Hunter'. (WIP)  

Unique Classes

These exist in a far larger number, though you would likely encounter them in specific places within the world. They cannot be played by any race, only those specified in their class information. These classes are often rich in lore and utilize the unique attributes, specialities and knowledge of their faction or race to fight or wield power. Class: Stormriders

Runecaller

Runecallers are warriors and loremasters of incredible skill and wisdom. They wield runes in the defence of their brethren, creating large auras of protection, empowerment and death.
