Faldor
The city of Faldor is the northern most city in the Elyswer. It stands before Greenpass and as such is responsible for the protection of the northern roads and the Obelisks of Khurilos that protect the forest and instill it with magic. A great wall sits north of the city and is manned constantly, with those atop forever watchful of the watch-lights of the Greenpass towers, those that alert of attacks from the north. Those lights have burned more and more as of late as undead horrors move south, their purposes unknown. Though the Glade Guardians have seen patterns and what first was random movements has shown itself to be clever scouting for signs of weakness. Whatever malevolent mind lurks behind the eyes of these monstrosities is certainly preparing for something, and soon. Those of Faldor have alerted the forests though time might not be on their side, as those nearby prepare for something.
Human Enclave
When the lands of Talimot sickened and died, many stayed, choosing their allegiance to their kingdom over safety. They stayed to fight for their lands, but they sent those in their families unable to fight south, first to Sonnen and then to Faldor. The forest elves accepted these allies with open arms, for many of the north had lived amongst them, traded with them and shared part of their lives with them. These are the only humans forever permitted within The Elyswer, for the alliance with Talimot persisted long before 'The War of the Wood' and has remained since. Those of the forest have long memories and remember the pledge of the Union of the East. Though now that kingdom has become Engelor and only death flows from those lands. The human refugees have nowhere to go and have taken up residence within Faldor. The human enclave takes up a large proportion of the city and those within live, work and fight with those of the forest. It is not uncommon to see forest elf, half-elf and human children running around the streets and forest paths of Faldor and this unique blending of cultures and skills has led to a number of prosperous partnerships and discoveries.Sister Tree
Atop the bluff to the south of Faldor is another of Am'uans' sister trees. Caelon is only five times bigger than a normal tree as of yet, but is growing at a furious rate, feeding on the powers of the Elyswer, and as it grows so does the magic of the nearby forest, empowering the defenders of Greenpass and Faldor with the magic and strength of the forest. Fey creatures and others flock to the tree for a pilgrimage and to live amongst its boles, though it is still a sapling compared to the others in the The Whispering Grove and Greenleaf making it vulnerable. If something were to happen or corruption were to take hold of it, large swathes of the northern Elyswer would be compromised, and the magical forest of the north would lose its power.
