Organization:

The Silver Chain is a secret branch of government focused on spy-craft both within and without Sabal's borders. They also house a large military of their own that is used for enforcement and to combat the growing movement of The Grey Moon .
Their chief role pertains to rooting out dissidents from the population, whether it is as simple as worshipping a none-sanctioned deity or something more serious, like treasonous actions against the state and The Emperor. Whatever the crime, the punishments are always severe and many that are taken away are never returned, and those that do are often not the same.

Fate of the Taken:

Those taken by the Silver Chain are almost always interrogated through physical or magical means, and what is done with them after depends on the weight of their confessions. Some are outright killed, others locked away and forgotten about, but most are pressed into slavery, working in press-gangs either excavating ancient ruins for government teams or building monuments and buildings across Sabal.

Alkaraza Jakil

A woman born and raised within the Silver Chain. Her mother a high enforcer and her father a grade 2 spy. She learnt both of their skillsets at a young age and was one of the youngest to qualify for full membership at the age of 14. Since then she has climbed the rungs of the ladder and her strength of will is only eclipsed by her devotion to the Emperor. Appearing with the Emperor in many situations, often clad in heavy armour and with the holy power of a greater paladin. She seeks to bring Sabal to its greatness for the next step in the great journey, and sees it as her mission to do so. For what is to come next, according to the Emperor, Sabal can have suffer no weakness or internal strife.

The Silver Blade:

Ezeheli

The head of the 'watchers' branch of The Silver Chain, or better known as the spies, both internal and external. Currently, managed by Ezeheli, a shrewd and wildly intelligent man. Of recent years his allegiance floats between Galenten or Alkaraza, depending upon what suits his own interests. He is currently aligned with Galenten in their quest for powerful ancient artefacts to gain favour with the Emperor, a task that has not gone unnoticed by Alkaraza and one she is greatly displeased about. For her and Galenten often clash over what is best for Sabal and the Emperor and though she does not possess the strength of

Foreigners:
The Silver Chains policy on foreign influences is not a positive one. Though they will allow non-humans to work and move across Sabal, they will often go out of their way to make it troublesome for them, whether that be through hindering their movement with paperwork and red tape, or confiscating their belongings and leaving them to the desert's mercy depends on the agents.

High Hierophant Sutra:
The founder of the Silver Chain held religious zeal of incredible scale. His view of the Emperor as their new god never wavered or came into doubt, and with the actions they undertook together in his lifetime he had no reason to. As he aged he wished some to protect that vision and founded the Silver Chain, with the intention of protecting, worshipping and sacrificing for the Emperor, so that his rule would never end.
