The Emperor

The Emperor of Sabal, often referred to as 'The God Emperor' by the citizens and loyalists of Sabal, or 'The Eternal Emperor' by others, is the prime deity of their religion as well as the ruler of the kingdom and has been for over 300 years. His name has become synonymous with protection and strength and is often used as a litany to protect against the many evils of the world. His deeds in conquest created the kingdom of Sabal from fractious tribes and clansmen of the desert and he created a bastion of human security and strength in Lenwir.
As with all things of such size and power, with mortal ideals, they can become corrupted and Sabal, though moving forward in a positive direction has become a place of united, but fractious people, many with pro-human views. Many seek power over others and see The Emperors coat-tails as a way of achieving that. Within Sab Dubar sycophants and the power hungry vie for his attention bogging him down in court politics and inane tasks. While those in other cities see themselves as independent of his rule, striving forward in their own directions instead of his shared vision.
Due to such short-fallings and The Emperor's knowledge that he cannot combat these issues alone, much of his tasks without Sab Dubar have been tasked to his nineteen children. They act in their own interests, though some are more aligned than others, whereas some are outright hostile to each other. Whatever their tasks, the Emperor strives to push Sabal ever further towards strength; strength of might, strength of mind and strength of soul. Many think for the need to conquer the rest of Lenwir, but the Emperor has his own reasons for this, known to few and discarded by almost all.

History

The Emperor is somewhat of a distant father, having had dozens of children and with Talkoris being one of the youngest has spent little time with him. Though he does value his opinion and considers him to be one of his most liked sons, with a level head and clear morals. Talkoris loves his father, both as a person and a figurehead, he believes him to be a great leader and a good person.

History

Even after years of marriage, they choose to spend time together, tempering each others rage and building upon their greatness. Whatever has blessed this couple is surely divine for all that see them feel the warmth of their love.

The Emperor's Birth

The origins of The Emperor are told throughout Sabal to children and adults alike. 
Falling from the stars a beam of light, like a comet crashed into the mountains of Flame triggering eruptions throughout the range. And from the crater stepped a man, or one like a man, but as tall and strong as a giant, wings of golden residue fading against the blackened rock to vanish in dewdrops of heaven. 
From here he saw the lands of the desert and those that resided there, such strength in their hearts, but clouded by hatred and greed and sought to unite them. From the burning mountain he descended, his steps ringing across the world, for here an angel of might had come and his will would save the world.

Many strengths and powers are granted him, though the obvious of strength and speed are most known.
