Black City

The Black City was a large settlement that formed around the Black Citadel in -2700. It's original purpose was defend the mainland of Askalda from the influx of demonic creatures that originated from the Scar. However, in -1368 a scholar named Halivar summoned the Demon Lord of the Abyss, Abaddon, into the city and it became a bastion for the demon king's demonic forces. The city was destroyed in -988 when Rohana shattered the Spellstone of Sagaria in the heart of the city and created a massive explosion.
