Hurdfolc

The hurdfolc, often called herdlings in common, are the most widespread and numerous of the halfling subraces. The hurdfolc are characterized by their nomadic lifestyle and adaptations, as well as their profound mastery of large animal husbandry, which they are believed to have passed on to the Skiathane dwarves centuries ago.

The Blodgaler clan - also known as the Blood Screamers - boasts a proud warrior culture who have had to learn how to fight to survive in the harsh southwestern regions of Askalda.

The Deorid - also known as the Beastriders - renowned for their ability to break even the mightiest beasts. They are believed to have taught the Skiathane dwarves how to tame and breed and gryphons thousands of years ago.
