Colonnade District (Cawl-en-nade)

This district is famed for its array of temples and shrines, dedicated to many different deities, with architecture that spans the spectrum from the imposing grandeur of massive temples to the humble charm of smaller shrines tucked away behind the main streets.
"Turn any corner here in Colonnade and you'll stumble into one shrine after the other, each dedicated to some faith you've never heard of. So-called priests in colorful garb hawking their gods like conmen in the Grand Market. Gods from the farthest reaches of Verenn are ready to pull you in and feed off your prayers. Don't trust the lot of 'em. All lairs they are. Now. Wipe your feet on the mat, come inside my humble temple, and let me tell you of the power of Ickvoome, the god of elven dancing." - Priest on a street corner in Colonnade
The district's name, Colonnade, comes from the grand colonnades that frame many of its temples. At the western end of the district lies a grand plaza, an expansive open space surrounded by the elegant homes of the more affluent citizens. This plaza serves as a communal heart where festivals, markets, and public gatherings take place with a spiritual significance due to the proximity of the temples. The Church of Soleen dominates the middle of the plaza as well as the faith of the city itself.
