Grand Market

The Grand Market is a large stretch of the city that runs along a river where nearly anything in Verenn can be found for sale. This market provides all the goods a city like Mearscon needs to thrive and then takes it to another level by offering food, clothing, and oddities from around the world as well. This open market rivals even impressive Bazaar in Thave.
The city guard patrols the market frequently, but the dense crowds weaving amoung side shops and stalls makes it a perfect haven for pickpockets and thieves. The city is also quick to crack down on illegal goods being sold, but such dealers can simply open up another stall somewhere else in the massive market the next day or set up shop in Immorae and not be hassled there.
