New Wall
This wall of white stone is one of the largest construction projects in recent Tabonry history. It is being built wide outside the northeast plains around the city to encompass the new buildings and "temporary" settlement. While the wall comes at great cost, the hope is that it will officially make Tabonry ever larger and a more prominent settlement in the region (instead of "that large town on the river").
"This wall will usher in a new era for Tabonry. It will bring safety for more homes and more trade. And we will all pay our fair share to make this city grow, one stone block at a time." - Mayor HaleThe wall is being managed by the foreman Tinor (Tie-nor) with a huge team of laborers as well as skilled architects and stonemasons brought in from Navarre and Iveron. There is some dispute with certain citizens of Tabonry who live within the Old Wall, who do not want the refugees and immigrants in the tents outside the original wall to be officially part of the city.
