The Pits

Low Bricks is where one can find two massive pits the descend far below the city. People toss their garbage and other unwanted "stuff" down into the pits. Criminals toss down things they never want found again.
There are two pits: the Wet Pit with a broken sewer line emptying into it and the Deep Pit, a huge cavern that descends deeper than any light can go. The Deep Pit has an ever-present foul odor emanating from it. It is easily several hundred feet deep, and there are only rumors of those foolish enough to head into the pit and come back alive.
