Anvalean
Anvalean is the capital city of the Avlarian Dominion. Situated on the largest island of Alvaria, it is home to the majority of elves on the island. The city is also regarded as one of the most aesthetic cities, at least to the elves that is. The skyline consists of towering stone structures with pointed roofs and stone spires intermingling with the local flora; the blue and pink leaves painting a scene against the clean, white backdrop of the elvish architecture.
Demographics
The city's population is almost entirely elvish. Many dispositions of elves also inhabit the city, with the majority being high elves and less common wood elves.
Industry & Trade
The city's location on the shore of the island provides a means of catching fish to supply the city and surrounding settlement's food supply. The city is also located near a rare crystal deposit, found only on the islands of Alvaria, which is often sold for profits or used in magical enchantments.
Guilds and Factions
The city is split between the new xenophobic, authoritarian faction and the more traditional, democratic government. Both are represented in the senate which is in the center of Anvalean.
