The Alvarian Dominion
Formerly known as the Alvarian Confederacy, the Dominion is the governing body of the Alvarian Archipelago. It is governed by five senators who represent the majority elvish populace. Recently, the Dominion experienced a dramatic shift in ethics, becoming less tolerant of non-elf races. This ethics shift ultimately resulted in the poor relations with the Veridian Empire and led to the armed conflict they are currently in.
Structure
The Dominion is governed by five senators elected from five established districts. Elections are held every 10 years and there are no term limits for elected officials. Each senator votes on policies that they think would benefit the nation.
