Greyhaven

While once a small village of degenerates, outcasts, and criminals, Greyhaven has changed much since Skyfall. Refugees from the larger cities and less isolated hamlets fled from the flood of monstrosities that were unleashed and some lucky few that survived found their way here. The survivors brought manpower and knowledge, and the residents began work on a wall around the growing city.   Cut off from the rest of the world due to dense forests to the west and south, and treacherous mountain ranges to the north and east, Greyhaven had always been isolated. After the Skyfall cataclysm, it was quite cut off from the rest of the world. After several expeditions through the dangerous wilderness, Greyhaven's people found The Dawnfire Empire was bent on protecting it's territory more than ever. In spite of protests from the independent minded people of Greyhaven, a sizeable garrison has set up within the city, enforcing Dawnfire rule.   Mistmourn Lake, to the east, remains warm and largely unfrozen year round due to a few unique geographical features of the area: Mount Cyndor, a volcano east of the lake in the Barrier Mountains, has several lava tunnels that flow fairly close to the bottom of the lake towards the volcano, and freshwater hot springs pepper both the northern area of the Barrier Mountains as well as the eastern area of the Frostmaw Peaks mountain range.

Demographics
