Eyona - The Crafter of the Threads

"You think because you are a god I must bow to you? You think you have the power to judge me, I am mortal yes, but I am also the child of your uncle. I am also an individual and I know you arent always right."
— Eyona the goddess of Fate to Yohir the God of Judgement.

The Maker of the Threads

Eyona was Elven born in the Sky city of Drift and started her life as a mortal. As a mortal she lacked any divine power, her abilities lay in her creativity. She spent most of her adult life mastering the art of weaving. One afternoon her home was visited by a troubled looking man who wished to talk to one of her kind. She soon found herself in a conversation about destiny that would not only change her life but the very threads of fate and time itself.   The person she was talking to was none other than Yohir - The Balanced Scales The god of Judgement. He asked her three simple questions:
What is the thing your people have created that is most beautiful?
What have your people done to make the world a better place?
How can you be so confident that you are a force of good?
The answers that were given have been lost to time but they were potent enough to stop Yohir in his tracks and bless the girl, sparing her from the complete destruction of her kind. On one condition; she married the God.   It is hard to argue against your own death when a god has set their will against yours. So Eyona accepted the proposal and waited, she was taken to the astral plane and watched and observed the gods around her. In the astral plane her divine powers developed and slowly she started noticing arcane threads dangling in reach of her astral hands. As she tugged and pulled on them, she found she could manipulate reality to her own whim.

The Fate-seers

This ability she used skilfully when Rena - The Spear of Clemency decided to end the life of the mortal who came to the astral plane. As Renas spear soared in the brilliance of the plane Eyona pulled a hidden thread and the spear missed. The gods were stunned, it was the first time Rena had missed, Eyona was stunned, she had changed her fate.   Now the mortals of Verra'Talu could rejoice for one of their own was amongst the gods, effectively sparing them from destruction. Eyonas followers were called Fate-Seers and temples and places of worship popped up around the realm.   Solaine - The Light Giver demanded at once that Eyona become a god and with her hands she made it so. Eyona was gifted with the ability to see the very threads of fate and pull reality in whatever way she desired. Time was no longer an issue for her, for Eyona could pull the threads of the past or the present to change the future. This has meant many kings and queens, regents and even the beast men worship Eyona. Gamblers and the more undesirable section of society for it is only in Eyonas hands lie victory or defeat.

The Divine Gift - Divine Domains, Symbols, and Tenants of Faith

Followers of Eyona spend most of their time at prayer. They are also great keepers of knowledge and repositories. Their temples often have an empty Spin Weave placed near the alter. This is because of Eyonas unique ability to time travel, meaning Eyona technically might not have been born yet. It is thought that when this weave is used it will signal the start of the return of the other gods.   Eyona followers are known as Fateseekers and Loreseekers depending on their speciality. They often sell this knowledge further afield to support the temples and repositories of the world.
