The Silver Swan Imports
A small shop specializing in unusual foreign goods (spices, fabrics, clothing, and so on), possibly catering to an immigrant community. The store keeps a steady supply of wonderful, unique items which lead to not-so-subtle rumors of whether the shop's proprietor, the red-skinned tiefling, Tra’vail Essfallow, is importing these goods through illicit means. Despite these rumors, the store remains open for business and the sees a decent amount of business on a daily basis. By far, the most popular items offered here are the different fabrics, ranging from magnificent silks to brightly colored linens. The Silver Swan Imports also offers many different varieties of pipe weed for the connoisseur, and a wide range of knick-knacks such as ornate candlesticks, trinkets, fancy mirrors and dream catchers.
Architecture
The shop is an open floor plan, one story building made of wooden beams and stone pillar corners. The wooden floors are well kept and an open ceiling with exposed brace beam gives the establishment the illusion of being larger than it actually is. A single oak door is the main entry point, off centered to the right of the storefront, with a large bay window to the left of the door and reinforced wrought iron bars bracing the glass window. A long planter hangs from the outside of the window with flowers throughout the warm seasons. The roof is angled and shingled with a small chimney.
The main room is cluttered, yet well organized, with items for purchase and there is a backroom which is used for storage and leads to the rear exit.
