Session 1: A Night at the Afterlife

Our protagonists, after some indulgence in the hazy den of sin, are forcefully brought together for a "demonstration" led excitingly by The Guardian Prosperity and begrudgingly by Quentin Togglepocket, the owner of the Afterlife Casino.

General Summary

The party began their night partaking in their own vices and deals. After a welcoming speech by the owner of the Afterlife Casino, Quentin Togglepocket, it was announced that one participant had to make an unfortunate last-minute withdraw from the Invitational. Hearing this, Tina and Xander both dashed to register. With some relatively easy convincing towards Quentin who was brought in to deal with the pair, they were able to acquire spots as amateurs within the Invitational. Soon after, the party slowly convened on the east end of the game hall where many Three-Dragon Ante players were testing their skills against the competitors. Soon, the Guardian Prosperity himself arrived and made a beeline to Quentin, or "Quenty" as he calls him. After another failed attempt at convincing Quentin to forgo his own security detail in favor of the city-wide, Guardian-sponsored Lightkeepers, Prosperitas decides to demonstrate their capabilities to prove their efficency. With the party coincidentally in front of this interaction after they were "volunteered" by the Guardian Prosperity to attempt to combat his infamous Lightkeepers. Guided onto the makeshift stage where Quentin was giving his speech not long ago, these mostly strangers were prodded to go toe-to-toe with Paradisus' guard and servant.
