Melo, Goddess of Light
Melo
Melo is the god of light and is worshiped by everyone as a source of goodness in the world and justice. Her followers are often the lawful good people of the world, the holy paladins, the lawmen, and other similar people. Melo is also often associated with hope as people see her as the light at the end of the tunnel. Melo is also worshiped as the one who fights off the darkness. She is the warrior who leads the charge against the demon hoard.
Because Melo is a warrior against darkness, she is depicted as a female paladin in heavy armor with blond hair and delicate features. Many statues show her being worshiped by young knights.
People come to Melo when they are in need of hope and light in their life. They will often give offerings at a temple when something in their life turned out as they hoped it would.
Melo is in the first generation of gods and as a result, they have no parents. However, she does have a child with Dhendar (Order) named Yone (Peace). She is diametrically opposed to Ombriss (Darkness) but she was tricked by Vix (Mystery) and had an affair with him causing the birth of the twins Yxis (Death) and Edona (life).
