Jewellery of Lu-Na
In honour of the Acuran of the Moon & Stars
Jewellery of Lu-Na is the common term used to describe rings, necklaces and other treasures made with Strafol stone, a material mined from fallen meteors.
Place in History:
During the age of Exploration, mining meteors in search of the very rare Strafol ore was at an all time high. But the near jet black stone that surrounded this gemstone was often wasted. So miners would sell these materials to blacksmiths and jewellers who would polish these rocks and place them inside of rings and pendants. Often used as a cheaper alternative to real gemstones. These black stone jewels would then be seen in gifts of affection or protection. Often imbued with some form of enchantment that would give the wearer a resistance of some kind. When an enchantment was activated the black stone would illuminate like the moon in the sky, making many associate the black stone with Lu-Na, the Acuran of Moon & Stars. Throughout the decades, these trinkets and presents would be passed down from generation to generation to protect descendants of the original owners. You know, my mother gave me this ring. And her mother gave it to her and its been like that for generations apparently. Who knows how old this ring is. How many of my ancestors has worn it. I know it only has a protection charm but its more than that. I couldn't even put a price on how much it means to me. I could never part with it.
