Koal the 4th

Koal the 4th, once a Jynx warrior now turned to stone in his new life as a Marubell. A lost soul who is trying to find his way in his newest life, in a realm that is not his own. We wonders the plains and forests in search of answers to questions rattling around his metemorphic head.

I have seen many things in my time, but to witness Koal is something quite spectacular! The mere reality is, he is a being not of this realm. Blessed with the chance of a second life, albeit in a rather earthly form. Not to mention, he actually witnessed the legendary Basilisk. One of the most fearsome serpents! It is, too much. Too much for me to comprehend all at once. I simply treasure the time we are able to spend together.

Background:

The newest incarnation of Koal woke up in a world that was not his own. Deep underground and rescued by strange furless creatures. As they guided him out of the Basilisk Maze and into daylight for the first time, Koal saw what he had become. A living statue with marble white skin and obsidian black stripes wrapping round his arms, legs, back and tail. The realisation of this new life was difficult for Koal to adjust to.
So difficult that he rejected his new fate and instead set on a quest to return to a previous life. One that he knew, one that he could understand. He wished to be Koal the 3rd again. A religious knight, sent by the Feline God of Strength to slay the beast that killed his nomadic family, the Basilisk. In an old life he travelled across the realms to hunt down the slivering serpent, locating its lair deep underground and coming eye to eye with his match.
Koal now spends his days learning about this strange new world, Violem. In the hopes of finding someway to return back to the past and fulfil his destiny. His journey has led this gargoyle kitten to pray to a new god to watch over him. Smiliodon, the Feline God of Time. He currently travels by foot with a mythology researcher and a young monster hunter in training, all seeking a way to travel through time. Each with personal reasons they have not fully shared with the group, yet...
At night, Koal spends his time reading anything that will tell him of this realm of magic. Whilst trying to open the locket of his past lover, also frozen in stone. He wishes for the day that he can reveal the inside of the locket once more and see the face of his first love.
