Law-Speaker Pentti Greenlake Maerglyd
Pennti Greenlake Maerglyd is the current Law-Speaker of Highcliff. He is a 2nd level Abjuration Wizard. He is young, and was assigned here for three years to teach him some responsibility after an embarrassing failure on a mission. He is trying to prove that he is responsible, but is still confident that he knows what is best - and is more likely to brashly make decisions based on his current knowledge than to listen to others or admit when he is wrong.
Physically, he is reedy and speaks with a high and somewhat nasal voice. He wears a braided leather cord around his head with a polished green stone in the middle. It's the symbol of the Law-Speaker.

History
Pentti and Raikki started at House Maerglyd at about the same time. Pentti developed a strong crush on Raikki, who isn't really interested. They went on a mission together with two others, which failed when Pentti tried to show off and nearly got them all killed. He was sent to Highcliff to learn some responsibility. Whenever he can, he comes back and visits Raikki, who feels a little sorry for him but is also glad to have him out of her hair.
