The Freefolk Of Ghostmouth

The Freefolk of Ghostmouth are a ragtag group of people spit out by other societies. They are bandits, outlaw, murderers and any other people that are not welcome anywhere else. The people don't care about much else than themselves but there is one thing that brings these people together, these lands, the only place they have left to go. And when you have nowhere else to go you might as well fight to the death to retain it.

Love of Strength

What does this faction love most about strength?

    • It provides control
    • It enables achievement

How do the people from Ghostmouth test and prove their strength?

Ghostmouth is a large, dark, mostly swamp province where the only law is the law of the strongest. The people fight their way to power and strike at anyone they see as a threat. This makes it a land perfect for robbers, outlaw and murderers.

What markers signify achievement or authority in this faction?

Violence and intimidation are the most frequently used tools to assert dominance and authority in Ghostmouth.

Relationships

A faction that the Freefolk respect: The Millder family

Are these feelings the result of achievements by the other group, working relationships, or personality?

The Millder family have a strong charismatic presence between the tribes which somehow allowed them to even talk the Freefolk into meeting with the other tribes. This impression was enhanced when the Freefolk traveled to their lands and witnessed their strong warriors and their impressive walled cities.

Does this dynamic have political implications?

This relationship was most likely the reason they considered the alliance at all and definitely is the reason the Freefolk have been keeping their word untill now.
A faction the Freefolk fear in some way: The Druids of Stagcoast

Are these feelings warranted?

Although their fear is mostly because they can't explain nor defend against the magic of the druids. The druids don't take kindly of trespassers and destroyers of nature. And their punisments don't shy away from death, or worse...

How do the Freefolk defend themselves when around this faction?

They don't, they avoid them best they can.
