Armorgrand

The Kingdom of Armorgrand is not regarded as a kingdom by the majority of other organizations. Throughout history, they are referred to as heathens, barbarians, and even beasts, as the Race of Brutgors, the dominant species of Armorgrand, share a dreaded history of conflict and murder. However, the tribes that live around the volcanoes of Armorgrand, have more than earned their kingdom and have paid their price in blood.

Campaigning in Armorgrand

Armorgrand is a unique place in the realm, completely barren and plagued by various devastating phenomena. It is a place where the Sentinel’s phenomena manifest with full force, causing calamities such as rains of fire that fall from the sky and deadly fumes that rise from the earth. Surviving Armorgrand requires unique knowledge and great amounts of strength.

The People of Armorgrand

The people of Armorgrand are mostly Brutgors. The giant-blooded race settled in these lands after defeating the giants after years of combat. Armorian tribes, though considered barbaric by others, are highly spiritual. Surviving the deadly phenomena of the area requires the guidance of seers and shamans, who learn how to lead their people by developing the necessary abilities. This is the reason why Armorians in general, are very superstitious and highly spiritual, despite their brutal ways and barbaric customs.

Inner & Outer Conflicts

The Armorians live by raiding and looting other settlements. The barren lands of Armorgrand do not provide any alternatives. Brutgorian people cannot cultivate lands or even build ships, and thus, they resort to raiding others and raising their people within a war culture that allows them to become strong and resilient. They often perform raids on the eastern settlements of Lothen, as it is the only place where they stand a chance of victory, given that the alternatives are the southern seas, the Rosian borders of the kingdom of magic, and the secluded kingdom of Goliath, which is protected by giant walls.

The Dangers of Armorgrand

The dangers of Armorgrand are plenty. The barren, unwelcoming earth and the unexpected phenomena of the area provide the most imminent dangers. However, the area is also swarmed by giant creatures, beasts that still thrive in the vast mountains and the volcanoes of the continent. Food is scarce and shelters are rare, and one must know their way through the endless passages of the mountains, to have a chance at surviving.

Armorian Customs

A King has the highest rank in the kingdom but a Shaman is regarded with more respect, even by kings.
Wealth is made via raiding and looting.
Magic is considered evil unless produced by Armorian Shamans.
Ranks exist only for military or hunting reasons and are assigned according to the strength and value of each warrior or hunter. Glorified warriors can lead their Hordes and have their sigil and are known as Warlords.
Dead bodies are burned on pyres for the soul to be able to reincarnate.
Animals are treated with respect as they manifest the reincarnation of a former tribesman.
