The Crater

In the center of the world lies a giant crater, a massive bowl-shaped depression filled with fire and surrounded by towering walls of jagged rock. At the bottom of the crater lies a prison of amber, trapping ancient monsters within until they hatch and unleash their fury to the world. The crater is constantly active with fire, smoke and ash, and the amber prison glows with an eerie light. It is said that this place is the home of the Sentinel, a mysterious and powerful being that guards the secrets of the ancients. The crater is a natural wonder, and a place of awe and fear, known for its unique geology and intense heat. The surrounding area is uninhabitable for most life forms due to the constant ash and smoke, but some creatures adapted to live around it, making it a dangerous place to explore.

History

Kargor the Smith was the first Luvar to successfully penetrate the Amber Seal that guarded the Crater during the First Age of Vitallia. Igrais was the first Luvar to travel to the depths of the Crater where she witnessed the Amber Seals for the first time before she accidentally awoke the Sentinel.
