Jago the Broken

Jago the Broken, formerly the Unbroken, is the former apprentice of the fallen knight Artorias and of one of the most skilled swordsmen alive. In his youth Jago sought out Artorias in the Garden of Penance and over the course of 15 years was taught the art of the sword by the knight and after leaving became a wandering swordsmen seeking out men to challenge to test his abilities. This path eventually led him to the city of Tyvswald where he came under the service of the ruler there known as Brodorick. Serving as the captain of his guard Jago rules over the Braewold, the large fortress inside Tyvswald and kept order in the city of thieves as well as protecting his boss. The two became extremely good friends and eventually even lovers, however soon enough things went wrong when The Prodigal Children showed up in town. Orginally arriving as a band of adventurers Brodorick dealt with them like any other but slowly The Alpha corrupted Brodorick and eventually usurped him leaving Brodorick dead. Jago was enraged and with his two closest and most talented guard sought to claim The Alpha's wretched head, but found themselves cursed and thrown and locked inside the Braewold, forced to protect the magical pillar placed inside the courtyard.
