Kingdom of Taevara

Prior to the influence of the Church of Taeva surpassing that of the nobility, Taevara was a monarchy like most of the other Southern Nations. Little is spoken of it today, apart from the fact that it once existed.

Disbandment

Over time, the Monarchy's power waned, and that of the Church waxed. Even before the transition to a full Theocracy, the King had much less power than the Archpriest of Taeva. History is unclear as to whether the king stepped down or was ousted, but the transition of power was largely nonviolent, as the people were already in support of the Church.
