Aietel

The capital city of the Elven Coalition, one of the oldest and largest cities in Vorago, and the unofficial diplomatic capital of the continent. Sitting on the intersection of two major land and sea trade routes, and home to some of the most skilled craftsmen in the world, if it can't be found here, it can't be found anywhere. The capital of art, music, and rival capital of magic with Farsight, and they know it.
Aietel is ruled by a gerontocratic council of the wisest elves in the world (somehow mostly high elves), who command the most powerful military in the world (all elves in the coalition are potential candidates for a military draft). For better or for worse, depending on your persepctive, they are strongly committed to not using it.
