The Fire Wars were a series of conflicts between The Magocratos and The Elven Coalition soon after the founding of the Magocratos. The period of tension advanced military magics and technologies, and solidified the rival-superpowers dynamic of the next century.

The conflicts finally deflated into mere rivalry after the symmetrical assassination of multiple heads of state of both powers on The Night of the Black Knives.

The Fire Wars established the Magocratos as a legitimate rival power to the Coalition, breaking up the near-uncontested control the Elves held for centuries. This greater political diversity, and the rapid advnacements in organization forced by sustaining the wars, led the way for a Golden Age once international peace was solidified.
