A small village that is the home of the Brimcythe Clan

Industry & Trade

Most families have livestock they tend to, cows and sheep, relying on the land to feed them. From them they get milk, wool, leather, and meat. When times are tough they trade with Gondral or Lativ for feed.

A few try their hand at farming, though tough in the cold environment, potatoes, turnips, and other tubers are able to survive. They've been lucky that the warm months have lasted long enough for them to raise radishes, carrots, and other fast growing crops.

Some travel to the Splinterwood to harvest wood, though a dangerous occupation with the feirce creatures that live inside the thickets. This is done only when necessary and generally in large groups for protection.

Some take to the pond to fish in the mornings, none do it as an occupation but as a leisurely hobby with the extra benefit of providing food.

History

Founded a dozen or so years ago the village had little issues until recently. A recent outing to trade with Lativ resulted in their caravan being raided by bandits. The bandits stole their wares and while no-one was seriously harmed, the village leader Geldor Brimcythe was kidnapped and is being held for randsom. Due to this the villagers are suspicious of any outsiders that come to the village.
