General Summary

The The Phoenix Four killed a spider, healed a frog, and met the "hero of another story."

Nightskitter

Early during the fight with the spider, Nyssa heard the voice of The Anchored telling her to "use the seeds." After planting them, the seeds erupted into black vines that closed the Shadowfell portal which the spider and some shadows had come through. After a tough fight, the party dispatched all the invaders.

Oh Oh Oh, It's Magic!

After resting up overnight in the now sizeable Celonari section of the tent city, the opening ceremony began. After The Oracle of Tsuvral sacrificed a cow to Apollo, Tana was presented with a wand of lightning bolts for her second place finish in the mundane shooting competition. The games' activities resumed with the magical run. Though Sandy was unable to claim victory, neither was the Ramanthi competitor, whose sadness at losing was overshadowed by the competitor who turned into a Storm Giant wrecking half of the Evruxians' tents.

Skeet

The magical target shooting competition was next. Tana and Tikvah both entered this event, with the latter winning the competition in a nail-biter of a finish. Afterward, Tana conversed with a Halfling from Parthil who entered the competition with a magical firearm he said he just found on the ground one day.

Alivul

Before the long jump competition, Tikvah treated the symptoms of a Frogfolk Graviturgist who was suffering from the soot coughing sickness. She talked with them briefly before the competition, and they learned that Alivul lives in the same area as Zaluoh, though they are little more than acquaintances. Alivul went on to win the competition due to Tikvah's assistance.
