Crystal Clear Alcohol

Named after the dragon lord Anarian the Diamond. Diamond Crystal Clear is an almost perfectly clear alcoholic beverage that is lightly carbonated. the alcoholic content of this drink is quite high at 75%. It has a burning taste, burns the mouth and throat and clears the sinuses. It is also extremely flammable. Because it's just water and alcohol, the taste is universally regarded as terrible by itself.

Bottles of this alcohol are sold throughout Vreathe. Normally sales are somewhat consistent, but in 2988 I.A., there was a shortage across the kingdom of Yurrimkil. People were protesting the government, ater finding out Vampires were secretly running things for decades and sacrificed thousands of people to their goddess Lithane.

When the protests turned violent, anti-magic fields were dropped all over the city and the military was dispatched. Unfortunately for anyone affiliated with the government in this nation, they were on the recieving end of dozens of exploding bottles of napalm. Because there was an anti-magic field over the city, no one could cast any magic to remove the flames. It quickly spread burning half of the city and killing hundreds of people.

While some races like orcs, ogres, and centaurs can handle a bottle, humans, elves, and half-elves cannot and must instead drink this alcohol in much smaller cups about 40 ml in size, and even then they are normally done after a drink or two. Usually it is mixed with other liquids in small amounts to create different alcoholic drinks. There are some who instead drink this as quickly as possible to get as drunk as possible. Normally all that leads to is a massive headache the next morning. Don't do that. there's no such thing as drinking the pain away.

Extremely alcoholic. Will soften even the toughest of minds.

Makes a great fire bottle when a fuse is attached. Works best with a thickening agent like starch or tar.
