Founded in the year 2940 of the Iron Age, in the Nation of Ordland, Mercure Elixers is one of the larger apothecary companies in Eastern Vreathe. Their potions are all quite expensive and the manufacturing process can take several months to several years for different products. The potions they do make though are advertised as being very powerful. Many people can attest to the power of these potions, but they can also attest to the many side effects.

Potions made by Mercure elixers tend to have metals like mercury and dangerous substances like irradiated water in the ingredients. These are necessary to stabilize the magical effects of the potion, but it also makes them quite dangerous for people to consume. Because of this, the company makes a Counter Potion and sells them with all their potions that require it.

The rest of their potions have terrible side effects if you drink too much, or in the case of the Revival Elixer, you drink at the wrong time. According to Mercure Elixer's, that's on the customer to deal with these effects if they abuse their potions. Most authorities across Vreathe tend to agree and allow the company to operate within every country with relatively little regulation.
