Stolen Magic Items
Leon Enyr, the enchanter in New Port has reported repeated robberies and missing magic items from his shop.
Originally, under the eyes of Dainard, he refused to seek help from the party. However, they persuaded him to let them help.
After staking out the shop, they found that the thefts were perpetrated by gazers based in the library, at the behest of "the king", a larger beholderkin.
Unfortunately, most of the magic items had been devoured.
"The king" was defeated. The party violently smashed their way out of the library and left most of the gazers behind.
Enyr offered to pay the party in installments for their work (apparently suffering from this financial setback) but was relieved to hear that negotiating a discounted price on a valuable sapphire and training Rust in the art of enchanting (once he replenished his supplies) would be satisfactory.
