Murskuug - Avatar of the Void

Murskuug (they/them/it/that) is a deity that resides in The Void, or even is a manifestation of the Void themselves. Many scholars debate the true essence of Murskuug, but one thing is clear and that is that its soul desire is to consume all. It does not desire to kill everyone and everything, it desires to erase everything from existance entirely, body and soul, mind and matter. In the end Murskuug wants only the void, only them. They arrived to the Material Plane during The Creation of the Material Planes, drawn by the creation of new energy and life, in hopes of devouring it into the Void. Its efforts were repelled however due to the other deities present who did not want their new toy to be broken immediately. Instead, Aedifidea - Planar Architect granted Murskuug their own plane as a distraction and the mere touch of the deity to the plane before they were repelled created the Netherworld. Not many worship Murskuug, even less so openly, mostly doomsday cults that hope for the same end that Murskuug strives for.
