The Void

The Void, also known as the Negative Plane, or Plane of Undeath is an endless space of ever hungry energy just waiting to devour life of any kind. The power to animate the dead is taken from here as well as all kinds of power to snuff out the essence of life. Nothing lives in the Void besides undead and deities that know nothing but hunger such as Murskuug - Avatar of the Void. The only relatively safe place in the Void is The Ashes Beyond, the domain of the goddess Ashephine - Mother of All Endings / Ashen Mother where all mortal souls go to wait to be claimed by a deity and taken to their respective domains to live out their afterlives. Some unclaimed souls are poached by evil deities and taken to their infernal domains, some souls choose the oblivion of the void and are destroyed, while others still wonder the Ashes forever.
