Viśvātha - The Thankless / Open Embrace

Viśvātha (they/them) is a deity who keeps their domain in the Astral Plane. They arrived to the Material Plane during The Creation of the Material Planes and brought faith and hope to the denizens of the planes. While it might seem that everything Viśvātha gifts is beneficial and should be celebrated and worshipped, the worship of Viśvātha directly is usually frowned upon by the worshippers of the other deities of The Pantheon of Creators. This is because Viśvātha is unique in the fact that they have no preference on who can or should benefit from their gifts. Instead, they reward individuals with strong faith with abilities that reflect the object of their faith. Should a community or individual worship a particular entity or object fervently enough that either does not exist or possess power in its own right, Viśvātha might grant them abilities that reflect what they expect from the objects of their faith as a reward for their devotion and loyalty. This includes people who worship things for either good or evil purposes, which is why many do not like the worship or celebration of Viśvātha. Despite this however, there are still clerics and champions of Viśvātha directly, mostly people who feel the deity is not appreciated enough in their own right and while the worship is frowned upon and not welome in temples to The Pantheon of Creators, it is not expressly outlawed like the worship of the infernal deities.
