These small celestials hail from the Sky-World. They are often sent by the gods on some sacred duty or, more rarely, cast out for some transgression. They have the ability to fly which increases as they gain experience in the Middle-World. Little is known about them and they seem to have trouble understanding the customs and even physics of the mortal world. They are often quite dedicated to whatever cause they take up. Love & Gender For some reason, all Burulakaw are females. The concept of gender is completely foreign to them and it is uncommon for that to ever change. Rarely, a Burulakaw will choose to gender themselves in some way.
In the Sky-Realm, love is universal and not associated with one’s physical form at all. Therefore, most Burulakaw would be considered pansexual by mortal reckoning. However, physical sexuality is something that they arrive in the Middle-Realm totally unfamiliar with. Burulakaw Names Before descending to the mortal world, you never needed a name. In order to interact with these new creatures, you have now adopted a moniker. Usually, this takes the form of an object, beast, or character trait with which you identify such as Hawk or Prudence.
